The story of “Cộng” began in 2007. The first shop of the franchise was a small café, situated on Trieu Viet Vuong street – the historic café street of Hanoi.

Cộng’s founder, Linh Dung wanted to bring the rustic and romantic spirit from her childhood memories into Cộng.
In 2007, at the time when most Hanoian cafés did not pay attention to their design, Linh Dung believed that:
Cộng needed a story of its own.
From the foods and drinks to the unique menu presentation; from the interior design, paint color choice to even the furniture design and decorations; all were done by Linh Dung herself.
To this day, Cộng has opened 58 stores all over Vietnam, and 7 stores internationally (Korea and Malaysia), welcoming thousands of customers every day.

Phố Triệu Việt Vương tháng 10 năm 2007 chuyển động, cô chủ Linh Dung khoác cho quán cà phê số 152D màu áo mới. Kí ức về thời bao cấp trong tuổi thơ của cô ùa về trong từng bộ bàn ghế kiểu cũ và đồ vật trang trí tại quán.
2007, khi mà các cửa hàng cà phê tại Hà Nội lúc đó đa phần không quan tâm tới thiết kế cửa hàng thì Linh Dung đã nghĩ rằng:
"Cộng phải có MỘT câu chuyện riêng của mình".
Tới nay, Cộng đã có 58 cửa hàng trải dài khắp Việt Nam và 7 cửa hàng tại Quốc tế (Hàn Quốc và Malaysia), vinh dự đón tiếp hàng chục nghìn lượt khách mỗi ngày.
"Cộng Nữa, Cộng Mãi", Cộng vẫn không ngừng sáng tạo với mục tiêu tiến xa hơn tới các thị trường thế giới, lan toả và truyền cảm hứng khác biệt bằng sự sáng tạo và trái tim của mỗi thành viên.
Cô muốn đưa sự dung dị, tinh thần lãng mạn trong ký ức tuổi thơ vào Cộng. Khai mở trào lưu “Vietnam Vintage style” trong các cửa hàng cà phê, từ đồ uống, đồ ăn, từ thiết kế không gian cửa hàng cho tới cách sắp xếp bàn ghế và đồ trang trí,.. tất cả ở Cộng đều đưa khách hàng đến với một trải nghiệm cảm xúc khác biệt, sống lại thời bao cấp đầy hoài niệm theo một cách dí dỏm, tươi mới.

Cộng’s team worked with coffee suppliers to create a unique coffee recipe, using a customized brewing method to give a distinct personality to the Cộng’s coffee. Cộng began to sell enameled cups, glass jars, etc. at the store.

The creation of the Cộng-style “Sinh tố cốt dừa cà phê” (Coconut w. Coffee smoothie), which became the signature and most popular drink at Cộng.

Cộng’s team worked with partners to create brand merchandise such as: notebooks, t-shirts, leather and ceramic products.

With every store, we create a different Cộng story, all drawing the inspiration from three main sources: The community atmosphere during the subsidy period; The Vietnamese army; The atmosphere from factories in the subsidy period.
